Joan L. (Robertson) Agundez, 63 of Flagstaff, passed away on October 15, 2011. She was born on March 19, 1948 in Phoenix, AZ to Harold E. Robertson and Mary Ruth (Wade) Ledbetter. Joan attended and graduated West High School in Phoenix. She was currently attending NAU after receiving two AA Degrees from Yavapai College in Art and Young Childhood Education. She earned a BA and was in the process of completing her masters at NAU. Her interests were photography and art and natural organic foods. She was a homemaker, an Art Tutor and was a member of the first all girl band to play in Las Vegas in the 1960's called "English Lace". Her son, daughter and 6 grandchildren were her life and she had a special place in her heart for all children. Joan was preceded in death by her brother Richard Wade Robertson. She is survived by her son Banner Agundez (Cara) of California; daughter Valentino Agundez of California; sister Lori (Robertson) Stewart (Leon) of Scottsdale, AZ; mother Mary Ruth Ledbetter of Clarkdale; father Harold E. Robertson (Marlene) of Missouri and 6 grandchildren. Private family services will be held at a future date. An online guestbook is available to sign at www.westcottfuneralhome.com
