Joan M. Roser, 69, of Rockford died Sunday, June 24, 2012, in Neighbors Rehabilitation Center, Byron, IL. Joan was born October 17, 1942, in Geneseo, IL, daughter to George and Mildred (Dupee) Kiesling. She graduated from East High School and lived most of her life in Rockford. She was a sales associate for Hancock Fabrics for 25 years retiring in 2008 and a member of St. Edward Catholic Church.
Survivors include children; Pamela (Chris) Scott, David (Kristy) Roser, Jody Turner, Terry (Jennifer) Roser, Janet (Randy) Carnock, James (Dana) Roser and Shane (Jennifer) Roser; 19 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren: brothers Ronald (Sandra) Kiesling and George (Charmaine) Kiesling; sisters Sharon (Donald) Oft and Jean (Bruce) Blair.
Predeceased by her parents and brother Gerald Kiesling.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 30, 2012, in the Chapel of Cremation Society of Illinois, 6825 Weaver Road, with visitation from 10:00 a.m. till time of service. Pastor Dean Parker, Chaplain of OFS St. Anthony Medical Center will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
Cremation Society of Illinois assisted the family.
