Joan M. Smith Eddington, 68, passed away Thursday, February 4, 2010 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. Born in Ottawa, OH, Joan worked as a Nursing Technician with Lutheran Hospital for 20 years, retiring in 1998. She enjoyed kareoke and playing cards, and loved going out to dinner with family and friends. Surviving are her Son, Franklin R."Butch" (Rita) Smith of Fort Wayne, Son in Law Kevin Thomas of Fort Wayne, Daughters, Sandra K. Bohde , Kimberly A. (Donnie) Smith and Lisa D. (Gerald) Perkins all of Fort Wayne, Step-sons, Steven L. Eddington of Fort Wayne and Robert O. (Gerri) Eddington of Marisopa Az.. Brothers, Ronald C.(Teri) Siebeneck of Geneva, OH, Victor (Sharon) Siebeneck of Sandy, WA and, Kenneth S.(Sue) Siebeneck of Palm Harbor, FL Sisters, Marilyn J.(Gary) Bowers of Sagertown Pa., and Bonita L. (Keith) Neuer of Jefferson, OH Grandchildren, Angela Thomas, Tiffaney Dowell and her 4 children, Nikki Thomas and her Child, Alex Bohde, Stephanie Simcox and her 3 children, Pam Hanson and her 2 children, Gerald Perkins, Lia Smith and her child, Amber Smith and her child, Ashley Jacobo and her 2 children, Samantha Thomas and her child, James Smith and his 2 children, Jason Smith, Zachary Perkins and Tiarra Smith . Joan was preceded in death by 2nd husband, Robert Eddington, First husband, Frank R. Smith, and her Daughter, Carolyn S. Thomas and Sister Kathy Wheeler Service is Tuesday at 1:00pm at D. O McComb and Sons Foster Park Chapel 6301 Fairfield Ave. Fort wayne, Pastor James Bachman officiating, with Calling Monday 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
