Joan W. Davis, 78, of Longwood, FL passed away July 11, 2011. She was born in Mt. Vernon, OH to Herbert and Sarah (Barroway) Woolard. She worked as a bookkeeper and accountant for a construction company. In her non-working hours she enjoyed painting flowers and writing poetry. She was close to her workout or fitness group and was an avid reader especially Mary Higgins Clark and Danielle Steel. She is survived by her husband of almost 60 years, Floyd; sons, Gary (Susan), Steven (Carmel) and Allen; grandchildren, Jennifer, Jason, Alicia, Justin and Wesley; great granddaughter, Haley; sisters, Carol, Dot, Mart and Ev plus uncountable number of friends, most of whom are back in Louisiana and her dog, Roscoe.
