Joanna Scott

Scott, Joanna, 89, passed away November 21, 2011. She was born September 14, 1922 to Paul and Della (Cooper) Walle in Bazaar, KS. She graduated from East High School. Her hobbies included, gardening, sewing, and ceramics. She enjoyed being a homemaker; her family and home were very important to her. So much of her life centered around her church and faith. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Vernon; and sister, Mabel Siders. Joanna is survived by her son, Alan (Nancy) Scott; sister, Juanita Wencl; 2 grandchildren, Andrew (Emily) Scott and Nicole (Brian) Moore; 3 great-grandchildren, Ella and Michael Scott and Ethan Moore. Visitation: Sunday, 1 - 5 pm at Lakeview Funeral Home. Funeral: 10 am, Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church, 611 S. Erie, Wichita, KS 67211. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church.
