Jodie McNeil Gooch, 54, of Albany, died Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.
Her funeral service will be at 10 AM Friday, March 29, 2013 at the graveside at Crown Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Leigh Ann Raynor will officiate.
Jodie was born at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany and attended schools in Albany. She graduated from Albany High School in the class of 1976. Jodie was a member of Porterfield Memorial United Methodist Church. She worked for many years at Security Bank. Jodie appreciated music and enjoyed volunteering at The Allman Brothers Band Museum at The Big House in Macon, GA.
Jodie is survived by her daughter: Ivy Gooch, Statesboro, GA; her mother: Joanne Gauntt, Albany, her brother: Lon McNeil, Gainesville, FL; Ivy's father: Theo Gooch, Albany.
The family will receive friends at Kimbrell-Stern on Thursday from 5-7 PM.
