Joe Bland Dillard was born August 19, 1928 in Lubbock, TX. He passed away January 21, 2011. Memorial services will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at Sanders Memorial Chapel with Dale Mannon officiating.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy Sue; daughter, Carol Jennings (Dwayne); two sons, Eddie (Nita) and David of Oklahoma City, OK; step daughter, Terri Sue (Ezra) of Cedar Park, TX; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, loving in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Joe is preceded in death by his parents, Bryan and Maybell Dillard; and a brother, Alvin Dillard.

Joe was a veteran serving in the Army Air Force. He retired from Time Freight and Time DC after 28 1/2 years as a truck driver. He honored the profession well. His love of fishing with his boys and grandsons were happy times for him.
