John C Henderson, 84, passed away Friday, January 27, 2012 at in Fort Wayne. Born in Brooklyn, KY, John was a U S Army WW II veteran and was a Truck Driver with United Trucking for 31 years, retiring in 1986. He was a member of Masonic Lodge Waynedale #739, Scottish Rite, and Mitzpah Shrine. John enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing golf. Surviving are his son, Duane Henderson of Fort Wayne, IN, daughter, Theresa Hathaway of Fort Wayne, IN., sister, Dorothy Faulk of Montpelier, IN, . niece, Tina Blair of Fort Wayne, IN, several grandchildren and great grandchildren . John was preceded in death by father, George and Ruby Henderson, brother, Gene Henderson, sisters, Dlois Robinson, and Lora Blair, a son and a daughter. Funeral Service is Wed 11:00 am, February 1, 2012 at - D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue with calling one hour prior, Visitation Tuesday 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm, with a Waynedale Masonic Lodge service at 7:30 pm Entombment in Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
