1. My deepest condolences to Johns family. Growing up I was a good friend of his son Richard Perez. When in his home John was always around, and with his wife Isabelle they always made you feel like part of the family. He was a good and decent man and will be missed by all who knew him. Through the years we lost touch for awhile, but I saw him at the grocery store about a week before his passing, and he looked at me, and with a smile and said how are you Tommy. Im glad he recognized me! I got speak to him that day. From my family; Tommy Sylvia, Marina and Jonathan, we send our condolences. Rest in peace old friend!

2. John was a great next door neighbor. Just an easy-going kind of guy; working around the yard, taking care of the house, and was a great conversationalist. I loved talking to him on the porch during those warm summer days--hearing about his life, exchanging opinions about current events, or answering his questions about gardening. I know he loved helping out at Little League. He's probably helping Heaven's baseball team now.

3. My Sweet Uncle John,

   I never thought the day would come that we would
   Have to say so long! I don't have a single childhood
   Memory without you and Auntie Isabel in it.
   I want to say Thank You! Thank you for everything
   That you did for my family. You were always someone
   That we could all count on. You coaching little league
   With Mark. Taking the time to do small favors for my mom.
   She appreciated you. We all did. I can't imagine a family gathering
   Without you there. I love to watch you eat. I remember all of the time
   You spent with us when we were kids. Taking us To the drive in and hiding
   Us in the trunk. Walking with us to the store or just watching us play in
   The park. Roaming the halls of Edison and then seeing you there was always
   Such a joy. Shouting out Hi Uncle John. The kids thought I was crazy. But I was just proud to be able to call you my uncle. I couldn't have asked for a better uncle. You will truly be missed By all. We love you Uncle and Ezmo wanted me to tell "Juan "
