John Charles Sherrell October 13, 1942 - January 6, 2012 John Charles Sherrell of Waco passed away Friday, January 6, 2012. Graveside services will be at at Rosemound Cemetery with Dr. Steve Mansen officiating. Visitation will be 5:30 – 7:30 p.m., at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. John was born October 13, 1942 in Waco, to John and Virginia (Cummings) Sherrell, Jr. His interests included; piano music composition, theory, history, painting, sculpture, ancient objects of art, literature, manuscripts, zoology and cooking. He served in the U.S. Air Force. "Charlie" was a character and will be greatly missed by all of his neighbors and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by Saundra Thayer of Waco. " My wish is for everyone to discover the power of J.S. Bach, L.V. Beethoven and G. Mahler."…J.C.S.
