Mr. Clay Simpson, age 51, of Pinehurst, Georgia formerly of McDonough, GA passed away November 11, 2011. Clay was self employed as a farmer. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, farming, working, going to the beach, and driving his truck. Clay was preceded in death by his father, William Alexander Simpson. Survivors are his wife, Traci West Simpson of Pinehurst; children, Jackie Simpson of Monticello, Sadie Wood of McDonough, Kennedy Simpson of Pinehurst; step children, Anna and Kyle West of North Georgia; grandchildren, Gavin, Dakota, Trenton and Zoie; mother, Harriet Simpson of McDonough; siblings, Deb Simpson Banks of Coalmont, TN and Bill Simpson of McDonough; several nieces and nephews. A graveside service for Clay will be on Monday, November 14, 2011 – 2:00 PM at Haisten/Eastlawn Memorial Park in McDonough with Rev. Alvie Rodgers officiating.
