John Darrell Fee, age 60 of Little Rock, Arkansas died Saturday, August 6, 2011 at St. Vincent’s Arkansas Hospice. He was born on April 14, 1951 in Lawton, Oklahoma to his parent’s Lawrence Alfred Fee and Ruby Lee Hayes. John was a veteran of the United States Army having served in Vietnam receiving two Purple Hearts, the Silver Star, the Combat Infantry Badge, received the Peace Medal from the Republic of Vietnam and was a member of the 173rd Airborne. In addition, he enjoyed fishing, camping and riding motorcycles and was of the Catholic Faith.
He is survived by his two sons, Shawn D. Fee and Dustin Kerns (Hannah) both of Little Rock, AR; three brothers, Larry Fee, Jr. of Mabelvale, AR, Jack Fee of Hot Springs, AR and Terry Fee of Little Rock, AR; one sister, Toy Jackson of Virginia; his mother Ruby L. Fee of Little Rock, AR; two grandchildren, Jesse D. Fee and Sophia G. Kerns both of Little Rock, AR; four nephews, Cody Fee and Matthew Fee both of Mabelvale, AR, Joe Fee and Cory Jackson both of Alexander, AR and Chase Estridge and Daniel Fee both of Little Rock, AR; four nieces, Katrina Peel of Mabelvale, AR, Stormy Clevenger of Virginia, Cindi Karl of San Diego and Angel Fee of Little Rock, AR. He is also survived by two special ladies Mary Fee and Paula Kerns. He is preceded in death by his father Lawrence A. Fee, Sr. and his nephew Lawrence A. Fee, III.
Funeral services will be 10:00am Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home, 10200 Hwy 5 North, Alexander, AR (501) 455-1067 with Brother Junior Crossland officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park. A visitation will be held from 6:00pm until 8:00pm on Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at the funeral home.
