Jack said when its Christmas morning your gifts will say to Lawrence from Santa and that is how you will know he is real and that I know him. He gave Rosalie the heads up about the conversation and what do you know Santa always addressed the packages to Lawrence from Santa and now Lawrence is 42yrs old and Santa still writes to Lawrence from Santa. He is usually away from home, working to provide all the things we take for granted; a home, food, clothes, toys, etc... Dads are a mystery to little children, they come and go throughout the day, and their love is felt so differently than moms.

The lessons a dad teaches are usually not realized until they become ingrained. These unrecognized things that are happening below the surface are habits that will serve you throughout your life. Things you won't have to think about, but can count on. It is often times like this that I question a higher power because the good ones are taken way too soon! Jack Lawson was one helluva man! Jack, We didn't know you all that well, but you had a huge impact on my family and myself. I proposed to Rachael in Cape May when you lent us your house. We found out Rae was pregnant while there also. But most of all, you brought a wonderful, selfless man, Shawn, into this world. I can't explain how much you meant to him.
