WINSTED - PALMER – John E. Palmer, 50, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 19, 2012. He was the loving husband of Emily (McDonald) Palmer for 25 years. Born January 23, 1962 in Winsted; the son of Loretta (Cordano) Oliveri and the late Robert Palmer. John was a loving and devoted husband, father, son and brother. He enjoyed fishing, the outdoors and was an avid hunter. He also loved his Harley Davidson. John was employed at Litchfield Gardens as a Property Manager for 30 years. In addition to his wife, he leaves his sons, Matthew John Palmer of Winsted and Raymond Andrew Neshko and wife Courtney of Torrington; step-father, George Oliveri of Winsted; brother, Robert Palmer of Winsted; sister, Michelle Palmer Hester of Winsted; best friend, Edward White of Winsted; aunts Kathy Dubois and husband Larry and Marjorie Cordano; many nieces, nephews, brother and sister-in-laws. He will be deeply missed by all. Friends may call on Thursday, March 22, 2012 at Montano-Shea Funeral Home, 922 Main Street, Winsted from 5 - 8 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, March 23, 2012 at St. Joseph's Church, Winsted at 12 PM. Burial will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Winsted.
