Express your sympathy with flowers

John passed away january 30,2010 surrounded by family and loved ones after a hard fought battle with lung cancer. He was born October 9,1950 in Oklahoma and moved at an early age to Texas where he lived his entire life. John's 17 year career as a journryman electrician for K.B.I. Electrical Services came second nature to him. His coworkers admired and respected the knowledge and expertise that he brought to the job. In 1992 John's personal life became complete when he met his soul mate, best friend and love of his life. John and Karen married and together they shared a love that needed no explanation. Soon after they brought their home,John brought a computer and Watahey was born. John enjoyed his online games, Two Moons being one of his favorites, and made many friends over the internet. John's attention also focused much of the time on their family pets - Josey, Willie, Katie, & Harley were all considered and taken by John as part of the family. When he wasn't working, John was happiest at home just being with his family. He was a strong man, mentally as well as physically - but yet a chosen few got to see hie gentle side. He would give you his last dime if you needed it, but don't touch his wallet. John had a deep admiration for animals, ironically that he was most like-the wolf. Strong, intelligent, stern, self sufficient and loyal. John's comfort level being at home with his family became evident when he showed an interest in hunting, His inner urge to experience the man game of hunting went unfullfilled. He did the research, brought a hunting rifle and gear but never could bring himself to actually be away from his family foe any length of time. He would always tell his buddies "Maybe next time". John leaves behind to mourn his passing and celebrate his life a host of friends and family. His survivors include his wife Karen; children Sharon, David, and Mark; Grandchildren Stephaine, Juan, and Jason; His father and stepmother John William Lamb & Vetta " Sparky" Lamb; His sister Kathy Lamb; brother Tommy Lamb; brother-in-law Earl and wife Jean Walker; sisters-in-law Debbie, Sandy and husband Don; and many nieces and nephews; and his beloved pets Josey,Willie,Katie and Harley. A remembrance celebration to honor Johns memory will be held at 5:00pm on Saturday, February 20,2010 at John and Karen's home in Garland. The celebration is open to all who knew and loved John. His final resting place will be in the Lamb family plot in Durant Oklahoma at a later date.
