Moran, John F., 90, of Polo Park, Davenport, FL, a retired toolmaker for the former Leesona Corp, died Friday, March 12, 2010 at the Good Shephard Hospice, Auburndale, FL.  He was the loving companion of Patricia Shea and husband of the late Loretta V. (Cooney) Moran.  Born in Providence, he was a son of the late John F. and Annie E. (McHugh) Moran.  Mr. Moran was a US Navy WWII veteran serving with the Seabees.  He was the father of John Moran, Jr., Barbara Remington, Mary Doyle and Gail Moran; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother of Ann Moran and the late Thomas and Edward Moran and Mary Schultz.


 


His funeral will be held Wednesday at 9 AM from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Benedict Church, Beach Ave.  Burial with military honors will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.  Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8 PM
