John F. Sayre, age 59, of Tornado, passed away Friday July 4, 2008 at the Hubbard Hospice House surrounded by his loving family.
He was a member of the Local Carpenters Union # 1207, and looked forward to the restoration of his 1930 A Model Ford. John loved his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra, four daughters, Tina Drennen, her husband Bill, of Scott Depot, Tracie Farmer, her husband Kevin, of Winfield, Amy McGraner, her husband Mark, of Haw River, NC and Lori Powell, her husband Chris, of Williamsburg, VA; one son, John, his wife Melanie, of Nitro; sister, Robin Sayre of Scott Depot; brother Robert, his wife Bessie, of Cottageville; and six grandchildren, Brandon and Chelsie Farmer, Nicklaus, Kohl and Chase McGraner and Joshua Powell.
