Mr. John Francis Miller, age 59, of McDonough, GA passed away December 4, 2011. Mr. Miller was born in Bethesda, MD and served his country in the US Army. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, hunting, and riding through the mountains. He was preceded in death by his father, William Arthur Miller and a brother, Joseph Miller. Survivors are his wife, Lisa Miller of McDonough; children, Tammy Williams of Concord, Harley Miller of Atlanta, David Miller (Kayla) of McDonough, Erica Welch (Stephen) of Woodstock; step children, Stephanie Hawley of Texas, Thomas Hawley of Mexico, Joseph Hawley of California, Samuel Hawley of Missouri, and Bobby Shelton of McDonough; 9 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild; mother, Gertrude Miller of VA; brothers, William Miller of Colorado and David Miller of Atlanta; sisters, Judy Pitts of Conyers and Marie Charlton of VA; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service for John Miller will be Saturday, December 10, 2011 – 11:00 AM in the chapel Haisten Funeral Home.
