John Gerald Pyles, 62, of Moline, IL died on Monday, November 14th, 2011 at Trinity in Rock Island, IL.

A graveside service will take place at 10 a.m. on Thursday, November 17th, 2011 at Rock Island Memorial Park. There will be a visitation from 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. at 6601 38th Avenue, Moline, IL.

John was born on March 23rd, 1949 in Davenport, IA to Francis and Dorothy (Eberhardt) Pyles. He was employed at Rock Island Arsenal as a Material Handler until he retired in 2005.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and enjoyed hunting and camping.

He is survived by

Son Franklin Wolfegang Brower, PFC
Sister Thelma (Ron) DePaepe East Moline

He was preceded in death by his parents, and companion Sandra Roberts.
