John was an excellent cook, loved working out, and going to concerts. He was an avid Yankees fan and never missed an opening day. He, also, never missed a family outing, but his favorite times were spent with his daughter, Hailey. They would go to the beach, zoo, park, and many other places together. John was a very successful, personable, and compassionate person and was loved by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his father, John C. Niko, in 2009; his maternal grandparents, Pauline and Harold Peters; and his paternal grandfather, Haralambos Niko. Surviving are his cherished princess, Hailey Rose; his beloved mother, Pamela Peters of Holland Township; his beloved brother, Kenneth Niko of North Plainfield; his beloved sister, Kimberly Niko-Ott and her husband, August of Summerville, SC; his paternal grandmother, Eudosia Niko of North Plainfield; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
