John Harvey Kinch, 57, of the 1400 block of Kearney Rd., Norfolk, VA, passed away January 24, 2012, in his home. A native of Pennsylvania, he was an Auto Technician with Yellow Cab of Virginia Beach. He loved his family, was very family oriented. He was a hard worker, very giving and loving, always smiling and passionate about his work and loved fast cars. He is survived by his wife, Michelle Kinch; his father, Ralph C. Kinch, Sr.; two daughters, Jennifer Harris (Montrell) and Jamie Parker (Paul); six grandchildren, Alissa, April, Aysha, Amiyah, Paul and Alori; two brothers, Ralph Jr. and David; three sisters, Gloria, Joanne and Wanda; and many nieces and nephews including a special nephew. Mikey. He was predeceased by his mother, Grace Showalter Kinch; and sister, Carol. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. Please call 575-5771 for Celebration of Life details that will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2012.
