The Obituary
JOHN LOUIS SMITH, JR., affectionately known as "Uncle Johnny", went home to be with the Lord on February 14, 2009.
He was educated in the Philadelphia School System. John Louis Smith served in the Marine Corps.
He accepted Jesus as His Lord and Savior. He was employed at the Bud Company for many years until he retired.
Uncle Johnny loved photography, music and going to the pistol range. He was an outgoing person. He also loved to eat at different restaurants and spending time with family and friends. Through pain and his failing health, his door was always open.
John was preceded in death by his parents, John L. Smith, Sr. and Bertha (Crump) Smith, and his brother, Thomas Furguss, Jr. He leaves to cherish his precious memories: two daughters, Tanya Y. Dominquez and Tamika H. Joseph; four grandchildren, Porscha K. Dominquez, Aronia F. Dominquez, Christopher L. Dominquez and Kemuel D. Kenny; a host of nieces and nephews; special friends, Joseph Edge, Inez Sullivan, Richard Stiles, BeBe and Ardith Crawley; and other relatives and friends.
