McGeechan, John J. 83, on October 10, 2009 of Mahwah. Beloved husband of the late Barbara (nee Sandri) McGeechan. Loving father of John McGeechan & his wife Christine of Allendale, James McGeechan & his wife Susan of Morristown, and Joan Pernice & her husband Sal of Marco Island, FL. Adored grandfather of Lyvia, Jack, Gabriella and Maya. Dear brother of Raymond & his wife Carolyn, Frank & his wife Joyce, Jean Wagner & her late husband Edward, and the late sister Eileen Landry. He was also loved by many nieces and nephews. John graduated from St. Regis High School in Manhattan and Manhattan College. He was a WWII US Navy Veteran, former Mahwah Little League Coach, and a member of the NRA. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home, 109 Darlington Ave, Ramsey, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday October 14, 2009 at 10 AM at St. Paul RC Church in Ramsey. Interment will follow at Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah.
