John Monroe Snyder, age 92, a resident of Albuquerque, died Tuesday, January 3, 2012. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Mary Snyder of Albuquerque, NM; three sons, Glenn Snyder and wife, Sukhee of Jacksonville, FL, Ronald Snyder, MD and wife, Paulie of San Antonio, TX and Gary Snyder, PhD of Greenfield, MA; and one daughter, Nancy Adams and husband, Robert of Centennial, CO. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. He was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church. John had a successful wood pattern manufacturing business. He was also an accomplished pilot and woodworker, creating toys, games and fine wood art. Services will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2012, 2:00 p.m., at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 9500 Constitution Ave NE, with Rev. Roy Elmore officiating. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's Methodist Church memorial fund.
