John Phillip Sinopole
April 10, 1930 – December 17, 2011
Mr. John Phillip Sinopole, 81, of Huntsville passed away Saturday at his residence. He was born in St. Louis, MO and was a member of Our Lady Queen of the Universe Catholic Church. John joined the US Army in 1948 for four years and fought in the Korean War. He then graduated from the University of Missouri in 1957 with a degree in Electrical Engineering. John moved to Huntsville in 1960 and worked as a civil servant for the US Army Missile Command. He retired in 1986 and enjoyed fishing, hiking, playing bridge and all his grandchildren. John was a loving Son, Brother, Father and Husband. We will miss him terribly.
John is survived by his wife of 54 years, Lucy Bultas Sinopole; Five children, Patrick John and wife Patricia; Julie Ann and husband Earl Chambers; Lynn Sinopole Craft; Cynthia Jeanne and husband Ryan King; Kathleen Sinopole Heeney and eleven grandchildren.
A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday at 12:00pm at Our Lady Queen of the Universe Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 10:00am until 12:00pm at the church. Burial will be at Valhalla Memory Gardens with Valhalla Funeral Home in charge of services.
