John Peter Schneider, Jr., age 38 of Linden, VA died Friday, November 23, 2012.

John taught for 15 years at New Dominion School. He was a bee keeper and enjoyed music and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his father John Peter Schneider, Sr. who also was a teacher with Prince William County Schools.

Survivors include his mother Patricia White and her husband Paul, his life partner Melissa Schmidt and their children Riley, Zooey, and Violet, his step sister Laura Morrow, his paternal grandfather John Schneider, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A memorial service will be held 10:00 A.M. Thursday, November 29, 2012 at Pierce Funeral Home, 9609 Center St., Manassas, VA. Inurnment will follow at Stonewall Memory Gardens, Manassas, Virginia.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of flowers or contributions to the National MS Society , PO Box 4527, New York, NY 10163 in memory of John Peter Schneider, Jr.
