JOHN RICHARD EARHART, age 91 of Nokesville, Virginia died Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at his residence.

Mr. Earhart was born August 26, 1918 in Forestville, Maryland. He was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church, Nokesville.

Survivors include his loving wife of 71 years, Mabel R. Earhart; one son, Richard P. Earhart of Nokesville, Virginia; two grandchildren, Chris Earhart and wife Missy and Tina Ringer and husband Roger; five great grandchildren, Dylan and CJ Earhart and Mackenzie, Alexandra and Hunter Ringer.

The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 P.M. Sunday, April 25, 2010 at Pierce Funeral Home, 9609 Center Street, Manassas where funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Sunday with Rev. Justin Allen officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memory Gardens, Jeffersonton, Virginia.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Asbury United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 6, Nokesville, Virginia 20182 in loving memory of John R. Earhart.
