Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, friend and hero passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2012.

John was born July 20, 1952 at Camp Cook, California to John R. and Freda Harn. He married Wendy Peterson August 23, 1972 in Santaquin, Utah.

He served in the Army during the Viet Nam Conflict and also served in Saudi Arabia as a civil servant during Operation Desert Storm. John retired after 33 years of service from Dugway Proving Ground. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and especially working in his yard which was always impeccable. He was the ultimate patriot and proud of his military service, our soldiers and the American Flag.

Survivors include: Wife Wendy, Sons Jason (Tricia) Sykes, Travis (Jenn) Harn, grandson Devin, granddaughters, Ashley, Hailey and Devene, brothers, Rick (Sandy), Lynn (Vicki) Herb Harn, Donita (Jim) Hargitt and John's dog Kohl.

Funeral services will be Monday, March 12, 2012, 11 AM, at the Walker Mortuary, 587 South 100 West, Payson, where friends may call Sunday 6-8 PM or Monday, 1 hour prior to services. Military Rites will be accorded by the American Legion.
