Johney "John" Boise Siders, sixty-nine, passed away on January 31, 2012 in his home. He had an affinity for technology and began a successful career as a manager at IBM where he was well respected and well liked. Johney was very good with computers and loved to take them apart and put them back together again. He was also very handy and could fix anything. He was married to Carrie Sullivan and bore two children with her. He later met and married Janet Moore and fathered two more children. Johney loved to watch basketball and football. He was a fun-loving man who was friendly to everyone and was fiercely protective of and loyal to his family and friends. Johney was also generous to a fault. He shared with anyone - that was just Johney. Johney grew up in Walterboro, South Carolina before relocating to Paterson, NJ as an adult. He is survived by: his wife, Janet Siders of Americus, GA; children, Greg Siders of Paterson, NJ, Sharon Siders of Philadelphia, PA, Allison Siders-Lane of Clark, NJ and Erin Siders of Maplewood, NJ; sisters, Rebecca "Becky" Jackson of Paterson, NJ, Delores "Lois" Ross of Paterson, NJ, Minnie McMillan (Willie) of Walterboro, South Carolina, Bertha "Bert" Tucker of Roslindale, Massachusetts and Theresa "Tee" Spruill of Ritter, South Carolina; brothers, Rufus "Shot" Siders (Annie Mae) of Walterboro, South Carolina and Robert Siders of Passaic, NJ; good friend, Jessie Cooper of Paterson, NJ; six grandchildren, one great grand-child; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his brother, James "JC" Mitchell (Beverly-deceased).
