Mr. Johnie L. Taylor

Taylor, Johnie L., 84, passed away Friday, August 19, 2011. He was born on March 7, 1927 to George and Stella (Sanders) Taylor in Angola, KS. He loved fishing, gardening, and anything to do with rodeos. Johnie served in the Army during WWII and retired from Coleman after more than 40 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Paul Taylor. Johnie is survived by his wife of 62 years, Mary Taylor; children, John (Cindy) Taylor, Jr., Alvin (Sherry) Taylor, and Donna Marie Taylor; sister, Shirley (Carlos) Montano; grandchildren, Marna (Dustin) Kalp, Angela (Steven) Ingram, Michelle (Harold) Miller, and Jeffrey Taylor; great-grandchildren, Tiffani, Cassidy, Bryce, Garret, and Morgan; a large extended family and a host of friends. Visitation: Monday, 5 – 8 pm. Funeral: 10 am, Tuesday, both at Lakeview Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice or The American Cancer Society.
