Mrs. Jolyda Bush, 83 of Memphis, Tn., died at 4:30 p.m., Saturday, April 2, 2011 at St. Francis Hospital form complications of congestive heart failure. She retired from Holiday Inns in 1991. She was a member at First Assembly of God Church, Walnut Grove but recently attended Longview Heights Baptist Church in Olive Branch, MS. She leaves two daughters, Paula Pike and Marlene Moore; and a brother, Leslie Alsup. She also leaves four grandchildren, Gregory Pike, Gloria Hohenadel, Andy Moore and Cody Moore; and 3 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. at High Point Funeral Home & Crematorium, 3788 Summer Avenue, on Monday, April 4. Funeral services will be held at High Point Funeral Home & Crematorium on Tuesday, April 5, beginning at 2 p.m. with interment in Memorial Park Southwoods Cemetery. Rev. Wesley Payne will officiate.
