JON GILBERT ANDERSON, age 87 of Strongsville, WWII Navy Veteran, beloved husband for 62 years of Isabelle (nee Beattie) formerly of West Newton, PA; loving father of Janet, Nancy Wilkinson (Patrick), Judy Sekerak (Rob), and David (Carol); cherished grandfather of Stephen, Emily, Laura, and Sarah Anderson, Jenny and Jay Sekerak, and Catherine Wilkinson; dear brother of the late David Herbert; uncle of Jack Anderson(Kathy) and Barbara Anderson; loving son of the late David and Emily Anderson (nee Shepherd) and friend of many. Jon was a U.S. Navy WWII motor machinist's mate third class who served in Guam. A retired shop and mechanical drawing teacher for 39 years at Lutheran High School . A faithful member of St. Mark Lutheran Church where he served as Chairman of the Congregation and Boy Scout Leader. Jon passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2011. Memorials may be forwarded to St. Mark Lutheran Church, 4464 Pearl Rd., Cleveland, OH 44109 and/or Lutheran High School Association, 3870 Linden Rd., Rocky River, OH 44116. Funeral Service at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 4464 Pearl Rd., Cleveland on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at 11a.m.Cremation by Busch Crematory. Friends may call at the BUSCH FUNERAL HOME, 4334 PEARL RD., CLEVELAND FROM 2-4 AND 6-8 P.M. ON MONDAY AND ONE HOUR PRIOR TO SERVICE ON TUESDAY.
