Jonathan A. Brijs
1961 ~ 2010

Beloved son, father, brother grandson, uncle, and nephew died September 27, 2010. He was born January 8, 1961 to Arie & Jane Brijs. He graduated from Brighton High School, and was currently attending Fortis College. He married Dauna Woodford; later divorced. John had one daughter, Janica that he loved very much. He was a truck driver for many years, both local and over the road. Served in the U.S. Navy (see bees). Golf was his passion. He spent many Sundays playing 18 holes with Uncle Dave.

John is survived by his parents, Arie and Jane Brijs, daughter Janica Brijs, brother Ron Brijs (Stacey), grandmother Eva Veenstra, nephews Bob Brijs, Ron Brijs, John Atkinson, Jordan Atkinson, and many loving family members and friends.

He is preceded in death by grandparents, Leendert and Magdalena Brijs, grandfather Lammert Veenstra.

Viewing will be held Friday evening October 1, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Mountain View Memorial Mortuary 3115 East 7800 South, Cottonwood Heights, Utah. As per his wishes John will be cremated at a later date. Condolences may be made to www.memorial@memorialutah.com.
