Jonyrose Filip, age 23, passed away Sunday, March 21, 2010 in Miami, Florida, of multiple health complications. Born on January 24, 1987, Jonyrose Filip was the second daughter to John William Filip, and Delian Cruz Filip, in Richmond-Rosenberg, Texas. Ashley Dianne Filip, was her only sibling. She was also survived by her grandfather Alfons Filip and Aunt Joan Johnson of Ft. Worth, Aunt Beverley Thompson, of Houston, Grandmother LaRee Franke Simpson and Aunt Julia Cruz of Dallas, Great Aunt Dianne Nadolsky of Garland, Great Uncle Jimmy Wilson of Boyd, as well as six first cousins all over Texas. She also boasted a plethora of lifetime friends and dedicated fans. Jonyrose was raised, and resided in Austin, where she was beginning a promising career in photography, however the beauty expressed in her work could hardly match that of her heart. Her amazing spirit and drive for life, combined with a natural ability to make anyone around her feel like they were the only person in the world, made her a one of a kind soul. Her accomplishments had already included shooting with over a hundred wonderful talents, both in front of and behind the camera. Jonyrose was the first recipient of the Golden Boot Award in the inaugural Austin Fashion Week for Best Photographer, People's Choice. Her work can still be viewed on ModelMayhem.com/Jonyrosephotography as well as her website, Jonyrose.com A Celebration of the Life of Jonyrose Filip will be held on Sunday, March 28, from 11 am to 2 pm at the Yacht Club at Rough Hollow in Lakeway. Please join us as we share the stories and smiles of the life of Jonyrose. Donations can be made at any Wells Fargo Bank, to the Memorial Account for Jonyrose Filip for Cameras for Kids.
