A Funeral Mass for Jorge Zermeño Cárdenas, 83, of Caldwell was held at 12:00 p.m., on Sunday, March 13, 2011 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Caldwell, with Father Brion Zarsky officiating.

Mr. Zermeño passed away on March 11, 2011 at his home in Caldwell with his family at his side.

Pallbearers were Jorge Zermeño, Frank Zermeño, Jorge Zermeño, Jr., Javier Zermeño, Juan Zermeño, Jose Briseño, Jose Briseño, Jr., and Nacho Zermeño.

Jorge was born June 30, 1927, to Ignacio Zermeño Padilla and Ana Maria de Zermeño, in Guadalajara, Mexico. He married Estela M. de Zermeño on January 23, 1960 also in Guadalajara.

Jorge was a great father, an awesome husband, the best grandfather and the greatest business man you could ever know.

Jorge is survived by his wife Estela, sons and daughters-in-law; Jorge and Beatriz Zermeño of Caldwell, Frank and Alejandra Zermeño, of Goldwaite, Texas, daughter and son-in-law; Maria and Jose Briseño, of Comanche, grandchildren; Jorge Zermeño, Elizabeth Zermeño, Maria J. Zermeño, Javier Zermeño, Juan Zermeño, Pepe Briseño, Fernanda Briseño, Nacho Zermeño, Estephanie Zermeño, Alfonso Briseño, Justin Zermeño, Eduardo Briseño, Jerry Zermeño, Jackelin Zermeño, ane Manuel Briseño.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers; Ricardo and Ignacio, and granddaughter; Maria Jose Zermeño.
