Joseph A. Lambert of East Haven passed away on September 20, 2009 in the Hospital of St. Raphael from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Son of Retired New Haven Firefighter Roger and Virginia Hevrin Lambert. Brother of Aimee and Jeffrey Lambert both of East Haven. Very very special friend of Nicole, nephew of Sandra Hevrin of Guilford, Carol Davis of Amherst NH and Jack and Terry Hevrin of Haddam. Grandson of the late John and Virginia Hevrin and Oscar and Irene Lambert. At the time of his death Joe was a manager at Wal-Mart of New Haven and also a First Lieutenant of the Foxon Volunteer Fire Dept, and an Explorer Advisor for Post 411. Joe was also a member of the East Haven Stoners Club and West Haven Elks Club. Relatives and friends are invited to a graveside service THURSDAY morning at 10:00 A.M. In East Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call WEDNESDAY from 5 to 8 P.M. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Foxon Volunteer Fire Dept. P.O Box 120035 East Haven Ct. 06512. Arrangements in care of the PORTO FUNERAL HOME 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte. 80) East Haven.
