Ledoux, Joseph, A., 77, an iron worker for Ironworkers Union Local #37 for 30 years before retiring died Monday, June 15, 2009 at the Westerly Health Center. He was the beloved husband of the late Alice E. (Corcoran) Ledoux and a son of the late Alfred and Yvonne (Dubois) Ledoux; beloved father of Donna M. LaFazia and Joann M. Boyd; brother of George Ledoux, Lorraine Legarie, Beatrice Faiola, Jeanette Carlson, Gloria Clark, Linda Tallon, Pat Williams and the late Cecile Chaney, Helen Martin, Rita Bevelaqua, Richard and Roger Ledoux. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Mr. Ledoux was a Navy veteran of the Korean War.
His funeral will be held Friday at 9 am from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Francis of Assisi, Jefferson Blvd. at 10 am. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 pm. His burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Home & Hospice Care of RI, South Team, 169 George Street, Pawtucket, RI 02860 will be appreciated.
