Joseph A. Mantineo, 74, a lifelong resident of West New York NJ passed away on Friday August 5, 2011. He was a school administrator with the Hudson County Schools of Technology where he also served as the President of the teachers union. A former commissioner of the West New York Housing Authority, he also served in the US Army. Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Hennessey ) Mantineo. Devoted father of Joseph Mantineo, Maureen Mantineo and Tara Mantineo. Loving grandfather of Megan, Lilli, Madison, Ryan and Rylie. Father in law of Trish Wilkerson, Marshall Wofsy and Daniel Miqueli. Also survived by Sisters and brothers in law, Joan and John Stalknecht and Pat and Gerry Drasherff and nieces and nephews.
