Joseph Carmen Zanni, Sr., 66, of East Haven passed away March 6, 2009 in Yale New Haven Hospital. Beloved husband of Barbara Argo Zanni. Born in New Haven September 5, 1942 a beloved son of the late Nicholas and Natalina Parlato Zanni. Father of two beloved children Joseph C. (Chrisann) Zanni, Jr. of Tampa, FL and Carla Reynolds (Robert) Griffin of East Haven. Loving grandfather of Shaina and Steven Reynolds and Ryan Griffin. Brother of Nicholas Zanni of Milford.
Prior to his retirement Joe was a printer for Phoenix Press. He was an avid golfer and loved to travel.
His funeral procession will leave the PORTO FUNERAL HOME, 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte 80) East Haven Tuesday morning at 9:00. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Pompeii Church at 9:30. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Friends may call MONDAY from 5-8 PM
