Joseph DeSantis, 85, a lifelong resident of West New York passed away on Wednesday May 4, 2011. He was retired from Lever Brothers Manufacturing Co. in Edgewater NJ. He was a WW II Army veteran and received the Bronze Metal. He belonged to the Texas Division Fighters # 36. Beloved husband of the late Carol (nee Traphofner) Devoted father of Denise Tully and her husband Bob, Terri DeSantis and her fiance Bob Vitali, Jodi Bruno and her husband Pete and Philip DeSantis and his wife Christine. Dear brother of Antonette Gogliucci. Also survived by 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. This Online Memorial has been created to commemorate the life of Joseph DeSantis.
