Joseph H. Ruppert of Warrenton, VA died unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at age 65. He worked at Sheehan Insurance in Haymarket , VA as an insurance agent and was a designated CLU. He held a Bachelor’s Degree from Penn State University and a Master’s Degree from the University of Michigan in Landscape Architecture. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Charlene “Charlie” Ruppert, a son, Douglas Ruppert of Marshall, VA and a daughter, Danielle Ruppert of Cleveland, OH. He also leaves a brother, Edward Ruppert, Jr. of Florida and a sister, Clara Filko of Pennsylvania. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at 1 PM at St. James Episcopal Church, 73 Culpeper St., Warrenton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 1301 Pennsylvania Ave, NW, Suite 800, Washington, DC 20004.
