LYKENS- Joseph J. Scheuren, Jr., 50, of Oakdale Station Road, died Thursday June 4, 2009 at his home , surrounded by his loving family.
He was born December 21, 1958 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. son of Joseph J. and Ruby I. (Atwood) Scheuren, both of Etters.
He was a member of the Millersburg Assembly of God Church. He had worked for Forbes Chevrolet., Camp Hill. He was a member of the Duncannon Gun Club. He was a former go-cart racer and was active in helping his sons enjoy the sport of cart racing. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and especially enjoyed quality time with his family.
He is survived by, including his Mother and Father, his wife, Tina L. (Leitzel) Scheuren, 2 sons - Joseph J. Scheuren III and Michael A. Scheuren, all at home; Sister - Suzanne Cobaugh, Halifax; Brother - David Scheuren, Camp Hill; Nephews and Nieces.
Memorial services will be held at his church on Saturday, June 13, 2009 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Norman Lawrence officiating.
