Joseph (Joe) Mulé Jr. Resident of Prairieville, Louisiana, native of New Orleans and St. Bernard Parish, passed away on Saturday January 14th, at the age of 69. Joseph was a graduate of Chalmette High School, and served in the U.S Navy. Upon honorable discharge, Joseph worked at Lonestar Cement for 22 years before successfully running his own private contracting company. Joe is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Diane G. Mulé and their three sons; Todd Mulé, his wife Sandy and their children, Allison and Megan; Brian Mulé, his wife Heidi and their children Madeline and Blake; David Mulé, his wife Kacie and their child Brianna. He is also survived by his mother, Adele Saacks Mulé; sister, Anna Hogan, her husband Pat and their three children; sister, Jeanne Zoerner and her husband Ron. Joe was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Mulé Sr. Joe enjoyed golfing, traveling, hunting and fishing, meeting new people, and spending time with his family and friends. We will miss his smile, his humor, and invaluable advice.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at 1:00 PM. Friends may visit after 11:00 AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials in honor of Joseph Mule' Jr. may be made to the American Heart Association, 1101 Northchase Parkway, Suite 1, Marietta, GA 30067 or the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 1131,
