Joseph Kundrat, Sr., 82, passed away June 19, 2011, in his home. He was born in Mingo Junction, OH and retired from the US Air force as a Lieutenant Colonel, and as a Real Estate Broker, with Reality Executives. He was a past president of Beachcombers Kiwanis Club, and a dedicated father. He was preceded in death by his wife, Cheryl Kundrat, and is survived by his sons, Joseph Kundrat, Jr. and wife BettyAnn of Laurel, MD and Aaron Kundrat and wife Sonya of Columbia, MD; daughters, Lorrie Bracaloni and husband Umberto of Boonsboro, MD and Ginny Passaris and husband Gus of Virginia Beach, VA; sister, Bertha Moucilovich of Florida; twelve grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2011, at 11 a.m. in St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church with Fr. Jon Emmanualson officiating. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. He will be laid to rest Saturday in St. Andrew Orthodox Church Cemetery, Mingo Junction, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Joe's memory to the Beautification Fund at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Virginia Beach, VA.
