Joseph L. Farago- Of Winthrop, Massachusetts, formerly of Watertown passed away on September 15, 2009 in his 84th year.

Born in Watertown, Massachusetts on July 24, 1926, he was the son of the late Frank and Jennie (Mazza) Farago.

He was the beloved father of Joseph Farago of FL; Patricia Farago of Winthrop; Dorothy Sands of Medford; James Farago of Salisbury; & Richard Farago of Westwood. Loving brother of Andrew and Anthony Farago of Waltham. Also survived by 8 grandchildren & 5 great grandchildren.

His funeral will be held from the Stanton Funeral Home, 786 Mt. Auburn St. Watertown on Friday at 8:00 AM. Funeral Mass in the Sacred Heart Church, Watertown at 9:00 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday from 4:00-8:00 PM. Interment to follow in St. Patrick Cemetery, Watertown.

Mr. Farago was a retired supervisor for Sears Co. and a late US Navy Veteran of WWII.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory to the Alzheimer ’s Disease Assoc. 311 Arsenal St. Watertown, MA 02472 would be appreciated.
