Joseph L. Simms, Sr. "Bo" On Thursday, October 6, 2011 of Alexandria, VA. Beloved husband of Marjorie M. Simms; father of Joseph L. Simms, Jr. (Annie H.) and Brenda L. Furr (H. David); brother of the late Patricia Ann Payne; grandfather of David A. and Michael J. Furr (Amanda); also survived by two step grandchildren and three step great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at Jefferson Funeral Chapel, 5755 Castlewellan Dr. Alexandria, VA on Sunday, October 9, 2011 from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 PM, where funeral service will be held on Monday at 11 AM. Interment Mt. Comfort Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Capital Caring, 2900 Telestar Ct. Falls Church, VA 22042.
