Wales, Joseph "Joe" P. Macon, 27, of Stafford Road, died peacefully at home on March 18, 2011 surrounded by the love and care of his family. Born in Springfield, August 29, 1983 to Charles S. and Elizabeth (Milette) Macon with whom he lived. He has lived in Wales all of his life and was a graduate of Tantasqua Regional High School. He furthered his education at Worcester State College and received a BA in communications, pursuing his love of film and music. To that end, he established "I'm Macon Movies" an independent film production company which he ran from his home. Besides his parents, he will be deeply missed by his sister, Anne Macon of Palmer, his maternal grandmother Claire Milette of Wales, as well as many relatives and friends. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home, 1475 N. Main St. A service to remember his life will be held at 7:00 p.m. following the calling hours. At the family's request, please make donations in his memory to Pan-Massachusetts Challenge, 77 4th Ave., Needham, MA 02494.
