Joseph Robert Fritscher, Jr. died in his home on Tuesday, January 10, 2012. He was 80. He is survived by his wife, Yvonne Fuxan Fritscher; 5 sons, Joseph III, Michael, Bryan, Kenneth and Robert; and a daughter, Karen Fritscher Bordes. He was born on February 19, 1931 in New Orleans, the son of Joseph Robert Fritscher, Sr. and Lucy Solito Fritscher. He had 15 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will be held at St Patrick's Catholic Church, 724 Camp Street, New Orleans on January 14, 2012 at 10:00 AM, preceded by visitation at 9:00 AM. Burial will be private.
