Joseph S. Patrick, 79, of White Township, NJ, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 06, 2012 at home with his loving family at his side. Born in Oxford, NJ on September 24, 1932, he was the son of the late Lester and Mary Hriczak Patrick. Joe had been a maintenance machinist for American Can Company, Washington, NJ for 43 years before retiring. Joe was predeceased by his wife of 57 years, Irene M. Makatura Patrick, who died on September 17, 2011 and a brother, Lester Patrick, who died on November 10, 2011. Surviving are a son, Joseph and his wife Theresa of Bangor, PA; two daughters, Donna Kinne and her husband Dean of Hood River, OR, and JoAnn Unangst and her husband Harry of Belvidere, NJ; two granddaughters, Rebekah and Stephanie Unangst; a brother, James Patrick of Bangor, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to be made in his memory to the Oxford Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 417, Oxford, NJ 07863.
