Josephine A. Griffith

Josephine A. "Grams" Griffith age 75, of Canton, Ohio passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, May 24, 2012. She was born on November 5, 1936 to the late James and Rose Presutti in Canton, Ohio. Grams enjoyed cooking, playing cards and being a gracious hostess. She loved her family and will be missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her loving husband, James Griffith; son, Michael Griffith; daughter-in-law, Renee Griffith; four brothers and three sisters. She leaves to cherish her memory three children, James Griffith, Dianne (Mayle) Griffith and Joseph (Trish) Griffith; 12 grandchildren, Lisa (Gary) Meredith, Sara, Dina (Danny Terry), Jimmy (Lanie) Bryan, Michelle (Mike) West, Michael (Diane) Griffith, Eric (Karen) Lembke, Abby, Matthew, Rocky (Carbenia) and Alexus; 19 great grandchildren, Anthony, Lola, Alex, Anthony, Maria, Raquel, Christian (C.J.), Sheila, Sherylyn, Shamira, Vinnie, Brayden, Avriana, Dylan, Nathan, Madison, Taylor, Tyler and Dylan; one great-great grandchild, Melannia; one brother; five sisters; several nieces and nephews; and two friends, Waverly Patton and Delores Babcock. Reed Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements. A Celebration of Life will be held at Joe's home (3632 Fairmont Blvd. Canton, Ohio 44705) on Saturday, June 16, at 3:00pm.
